Vista time not updating
in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I've been having issues with Windows 10 updates. Okay for some reason since last night I can't get windows defender to update, the dotted lines just keep going not doing anything. In order for me to update I had manual download it from the Windows website, is anyone else having this issue? Also before anyone asks yes I ran troubleshooter and it found nothing wrong and I can still download other windows updates since last weeks update just came to me last night.
I have also seen this problem with windows defender stuck at 0% when updating.
- wikigain I just made a bootable USB Windows 10 installer, added the storport drivers for my hardware raid, during install to see my SSDs, choose my empty 480GB SSD and installed Windows 10 on it.
It is a full SATA 3 connected Windows 10 installation, not in a "Virtual Machine" You do not have to use parallels or boot camp to install Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and up allows you to install windows exactly like you would any standard PC.
BTW: the reason I can say this is that I have three other PCs and they are updating.
My Windows Update is disabled(I update when I see that updates don't break anything).
You can get one from any Drug, Office Supply or Computer store.
